The Ylang had its maiden voyage in 2019.  It can accommodate 20 passengers. 

Heritage Line’s Ylang is a cutting-edge ship sailing through the far-flung corners of the magnificent Lan Ha Bay. With her vivacious charm, she beckons guests to embark on a journey of all the senses. Ylang's interior sports a delicate floral leitmotif inspired by local poetry. Together with the collection of featured artwork, an ancient flair of Indochina emanates throughout the vessel.

Her Story

Ylang inherited her good looks from her mother Ginger, the eldest and most graceful of the Halong Bay sisters. Ylang, as the first born of the third generation in this aristocratic family, built a strong attachment to her heritage of Vietnamese traditional design and Indochine legacy. Her love for flowers can be found everywhere on board with artefacts of floral motifs depicting the seasons.

Her interior is decorated with paintings she inherited from her mother as well as gifted from her grandparents’ artist friends. Ylang spent a lot of her childhood playing in the loft at her maternal grandmother’s home: a treasure trove of ancient reminiscences which she used to style her new home to perfection.

Although she is a romantic and loves ancient poetry, Ylang has always been down to earth, and growing up she loved to explore the environment, making friends with fisherman in floating villages and exploring the natural beauty of island jungles. The guests she hosts on board will sense all of this to the fullest.
