Gibraltar Cruise

The “Rock” is a 1,400 foot canine guardian of the Mediterranean, and an integral part of British maritime history. Nelson’s body was pickled in a barrel of brandy there immediately after the battle of Trafalgar before transport back to Blighty. In spite of the island’s umbilical link to Spain everything about it is intrinsically British with its Bobbies on the beat, red pillar boxes, pubs and bars. Yes they do whisper in  Spanish as well and you can cheerfully quaff a sangria if you feel like sailing against the tide.
